Master Minimum Equipment Lists (MMEL) | ||||||||
While We Have Completed Over 3,000 MEL/MMEL Approvals All Over The World, Each of These Are Different-So Stay In Communication With Our Staff.
INCLUDES the full-sized MEL and a Jepp-sized MEL binder set (after your approval is done). Also the NEF program files (you can complete) and a variety of maintenance and MEL or discrepancy write-up forms. MEL verses an MMEL: While we like selling and updating MELs forever, if you are a Part 91 operator you might want to consider the MMEL option at SKU M040200. It depends. Some FSDOs demand a fully tailored MEL for any RVSM operation, and they can quote title and verse to get that, but it is less than half the price and there is little or no need to come back to GLN for updates in the future as you have a full manual, with procedures, policies, training, forms, etc., and all you need to do is keep replacing the MMEL from the FAA website at www.opspecs.com. MEL Use Policy: We have a variety of them for different regulatory rules, so we can provide that, or generally if this is for Part 125 or 135, the page only points to your operations manual, where the common MEL Use Policy would usually reside. (M) and (O) Procedures: We have most of these in our library, but you may be responsible to provide them to us for inclusion. Trouble ones include the Falcons that can be as large as a Boeing Dispatch Deviation Procedures Guide (DDPG). We edit the (M) and (O) list for your tailored MEL. However, there may be some procedures we need to work with you. Updates: The MMEL is carried through to the most current updates even if this has a revision while in to the agency for approval. After that you would have to order an update from our store. Updates are flat rated on the GLN eStore at SKU M05010. Annual Fees: None. Mostly a waste of money as the other companies doing annual fees charge more than the occasional changes (average is 2.7 years, but some might be twice a year). NEF Program: We include the software for the NEF. You will need about 30-minutes to make a company-level NEF. Some inspectors are badly confused, but this is not to be aircraft-specific, just company-specific so the same NEF is used throughout the company. There are a number of issues to MEL/MMELs and it would be best if you had a conversation with our MEL staff. Call our staff at 303-925-1491 and get your questions answered. We will call you when your order is processed through the eStore to be sure you are ordering the right product, at the right price and the right options. Then the worksheets will be downloaded to you for completion.
